Mediation is a structured negotiation process in which the independent mediator assists the parties to identify the issues in dispute, assess options and negotiate an agreement to resolve their dispute.
Mediation may be undertaken by the parties at any stage of a dispute. However our experience indicates that the parties to a dispute are usually better served by early mediation. The parties may either voluntarily engage in the mediation process or it may be Court ordered or sometimes it is required by a contract between the parties.
