Bloodbank Makes Call For Blood Donations
The Hickey Lawyers team has responded to the national call from the Australian Red Cross Blood Service to help them boost their currently low supplies.
At this time of year, as regular donors are hit with flus and viruses and unable to give, supplies usually drop. Last week though, the supply dropped to only 2 days worth. Supplies of O Negative Blood were particularly low and a national call was placed for urgent donations.
Given that 1 person’s donation of blood saves 3 lives, the rewards of donating are very real. We encourage our colleagues, partners, clients, associates and friends to all contribute and join us in our Red 25 mission. Get in touch with Francene Mulder to join us.
