Hickey Lawyers Joined The Gold Coast Mayor's Trade Mission To China

Hickey Lawyers team recently joined the Gold Coast Mayor's Trade Mission to China and visited Chengdu and Kunming in Sichuan province.

This is the second Gold Coast Mayor’s Trade Mission to China this year. The mission created a lot of opportunities for local Australian businesses to connect with Chinese private sector and government bodies, especially in areas such as tourism, education and investment.

As part of the selected mission delegation, Managing Partner Tony Hickey and Partner Simon Chan had the opportunity to meet with a large number of Chinese entrepreneurs who are interested in investing in Australia, especially the Gold Coast due to its mild climate, safe environment and excellent education system.

Prior and after the official mission program, Tony and Simon also undertook private meetings in Hong Kong and Beijing with existing clients and possible future investors in Gold Coast and Australia.

Hickey Lawyers team travels to China regularly and is looking forward to assisting more Chinese investors to achieve their goals and realise their dreams in Australia.
